Nomination Criteria:
The deadline for submitting a nomination is May 1st. Completed nominations will remain active for three years.
- Nominees must be TWLTA members in good standing for three of the past four years
- Nominees must currently teach a foreign language in grades K-12
- Previous recipients are ineligible

The following supporting data will be required of finalists by September 1. The nominator may be asked to help collect some of this data.
Required:
- Letter of support from principal / supervisor
- One to three letters of support from former students
- One to three letters of support from colleagues
Optional:
- Resume / CV of nominee
- Letters of support from professional organizations
- Articles about the nominee in school newsletters, local newspapers, etc.
- Publications of nominee
