2024 General Workshop I: Listen up! Strategies for successful listening (and reading) comprehension from Level 1 to AP/IB

Description: This interactive workshop will share successful classroom strategies and resources for building listening comprehension skills from level 1 through AP and IB courses including where to find and how to adapt resources, types of activities to practice the skills, and ways to assess growth in comprehension. We will also explore how the strategies can be applied to strengthen reading comprehension skills.

Description: Starting to prepare students for the AP Exam in their fourth year is too late! Come learn some tips and tricks about helping students reduce anxiety and boost success while beginning preparation in a novice level class. This workshop will breakdown the AP Exam tasks and will give lower level teachers time to create or modify activities that imitate the AP Exam!
2024 TWLTA Workshop - Tech - AI = Acquisition Intelligence? Using AI for Language Learning
